Cookie policy
Two things load on this site only if you accept them: a LinkedIn tag and a live chat. Everything else is either cookie-free or strictly functional. This page says exactly what each one does.
1. What is stored without asking you
Four things, all strictly necessary, none of which follows you anywhere. They stay in your browser and are never sent to an advertising network:
- Your currency. When you switch pricing between EUR and USD, that choice is kept in your browser local storage so the site remembers it next time. It is not sent to any server.
- Your cookie choice itself. What you accepted or refused, with the date and the version of the banner. Without it we would ask you the question on every page. Kept for six months, then the question is asked again.
- Whether you have seen the opening film. Kept for the length of your browsing session only, so the film does not play again every time you come back to the home page. It disappears when you close the tab.
- An anti-spam token, issued by Cloudflare Turnstile when you submit the contact form, to verify that the request comes from a person and not a robot. It is issued at submission and expires immediately afterwards.
2. Audience measurement
Audience measurement is handled by Plausible Analytics. It is cookie-free, collects no personal data, assigns no identifier to a visitor, and stores its data within the European Union.
Under the criteria set by the CNIL, measurement of this kind is exempt from prior consent, and it is therefore not one of the choices offered in the banner. What is measured is limited to aggregate figures: pages viewed, referring site, country, type of device. None of it identifies you, and none of it can be traced back to a single visitor.
3. What loads only if you accept
Two services, each with its own switch in the banner. Refusing one does not refuse the other. As long as you have not answered, neither is loaded and no request leaves your browser towards them:
- Measurement and advertising. The LinkedIn Insight Tag counts the visits our LinkedIn campaigns bring, and lets us address those visitors again on LinkedIn. It sets cookies on linkedin.com and is operated by LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company. This is the one genuine third-party advertising tag on this site.
- Live chat. Crisp opens a conversation with us and remembers it, so you do not start over at every visit. It sets a cookie on this site, kept for six months, and is operated by Crisp IM SARL, whose servers are in France.
4. Changing your mind, at any moment
At the bottom of every page there is a “Cookie choices” link. It reopens the banner with your switches as they really stand. Switching something off stops it immediately, not on the next page. You may also inspect and clear this site’s local storage from your browser settings: clearing it simply resets the currency and asks you the cookie question again.
5. What we do not do
We sell nothing, we hand nothing to anyone for money, and we build no advertising profile of our own. Silence is not consent here: ignoring the banner or closing the page leaves everything switched off. No switch is ever pre-ticked. And should we add another tool that needs consent, the banner version will be raised and the question asked again, to you as to everyone.
